Using Tripeez means travelling with unknown person(s) in an unknown vehicle.
It goes without saying that a traffic accident is possible.
Trippers and Trippists are aware that they are travelling at their own risk and that no
insurance in addition to the Trippist's personal or third-party liability insurance has
been taken out for the various Trips.
Tripeez and the company Pressinvest decline all responsibility in the event of
accidents, incidents of any kind or inappropriate behaviour on the part of users.
As a result, Tripeez and Pressinvest cannot be held responsible for any action, event,
incident, accident, etc., or for the consequences thereof, that may occur during the use
of the app and the journeys made using it.
Trippists and Trippers therefore refrain from taking any legal action against
Pressinvest, Tripeez and/or its representatives.
The Tripper will pay the Trippist an amount
per kilometer calculated between the begin of the trip and the "ARRIVED AT
DESTINATION '' point.
The reference rate is 0.16 E/km (with a minimum of 1.08 Euro/trip) ; which is the
reference rate established in Belgium.
This rate is degressive and decreases according to the number of kilometres
travelled.
This rate is adapted in each country according to relative economic indices and standard
of living
15% of the total amount of the trip paid by the Tripper to Trippist will be retained by
Tripeez for the operating costs of the app and payment of fees to intermediaries
(Paypal, Stripe, etc.)
From the moment the trip is finalized, whether the Tripper or the Trippist validates the
trip, they accept that the amount paid can never be reimbursed.
Tripeezing (carpooling / hitchhiking) is a legal and authorised activity.
"TRIPEEZ" is not a taxi app, and is reserved for non-professional passenger
transport drivers and people wishing to go from one place to another at a lower cost for
private journeys. It is therefore a simple sharing of expenses that is not taxable.
However, it is possible that the laws may change for the worse. If this were to happen,
Trippists would have to pay any taxes levied by the various countries. Neither Tripeez
nor Pressinvest and representatives can ever be held responsible for any tax
repercussions on users of the app.
